Neurologist
Duties and responsibilities: A neurologist is a physician specializing in neurology and trained to investigate, or diagnose and treat neurological disorders. Neurologists may also be involved in clinical research, and clinical trials, as well as basic research and translational research. While neurology is a non-surgical specialty, its corresponding surgical specialty is neurosurgery. Neurology, being a branch of medicine, differs from neuroscience, which is the scientific study of the nervous system in all of its aspects.
Salary: $256,000
Education: A neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in the treatment of disorders of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. Due to the complexity of the nervous system and the seriousness of nervous system injuries and diseases, a neurologist requires a great deal of education, similar to other doctors in medical specialties.

Eastern medicine doctor

Eastern medicine doctor
Duties and responsibilities: "Chinese medicine," often called "Oriental medicine" or "traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)," encompasses a vast array of folk medical practices based on mysticism. It holds that the body's vital energy (chi or qi) circulates through channels, called meridians, that have branches connected to bodily organs and functions. Illness is attributed to imbalance or interruption of chi.. Ancient practices such as acupuncture, Qigong, and the use of various herbs are claimed to restore balance.
Salary: $30,000-$150,000
Education: In 1971, an acupuncture boom occurred in the United States because of stories about visits to China by various American dignitaries. Entrepreneurs, both medical and nonmedical, began using flamboyant advertising techniques to promote clinics, seminars, demonstrations, books, correspondence courses, and do-it-yourself kits. Today some states restrict the practice of acupuncture to physicians or others operating under their direct supervision. In about 20 states, people who lack medical training can perform acupuncture without medical supervision. The FDA now classifies acupuncture needles as Class II medical devices and requires labeling for one-time use by practitioners who are legally authorized to use them [17]. Acupuncture is not covered under Medicare. The March 1998 issue of the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association carried a five-part cover story encouraging chiropractors to get acupuncture training, which, according to one contributor, would enable them to broaden the scope of their practice

“A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession.”
Hippocrates

Reflection: what I think this reflection by Hippocrates is trying to say that if you do well in life one day life will pay you back. For example: if you give someone in need a dollar or food there will be thank full and say god bless you what would you feel happy or sad? I’d feel proud of myself because I helped someone in need who needs it more than me. God will repay you somehow why? Because he sees everything and is happy for what you’re doing.

Student success statement

Choose the right!!!
Student success statement
“Have the courage to say no.
Have the courage to face the truth.
Do the right thing because it is right.”
W. Clement Stone

REFLECTION: what I think this great statement by W. Clement Stone is trying to say that to face the truth don't live a life full of lies. Do the right thing because it’s for your best and like I've been told “if you do what’s right and help someone or be nice god will pay you back in a better way.” This I why you should do what’s right and what’s the best in life.
