Duties and responsibilities: Ear, nose, and throat specialists, also known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists, are medical doctors responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas. Specialized skills of otolaryngologists include managing disorders of the upper pharynx and oral cavity, larynx (voice box), ears, nose and nasal passage, and face and neck. Almost all ENT specialists regularly handle cases like nosebleeds, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, tonsillectomies, and sinusitis.

Otolaryngologists focusing on the ears treat hearing disorders, infections, balance disorders, nerve pain, ear noise (tinnitus), and cranial nerve disorders. ENT specialists of the nose deal with patients suffering from chronic sinusitis. Throat specialists treat diseases of the larynx, esophagus, and upper aero-digestive tract, including swallowing and voice disorders. Medical specialists treating problems in the head and neck regions deal with tumors, infectious diseases, deformities, and facial trauma.

Salary: $205,000 per year

Education: At least five years of surgical residency

Pharmacy technician

Duties and responsibilities: Pharmacists compound, or prepare, prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other practitioners.  They review these prescriptions to validate their accuracy and then prepare the medication.  This can involve weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs.  Once the compounds are prepared, pharmacists then dispense them to customers and patients.

Pharmacists answer patients' and customers' questions about the drugs they are taking and drugs which can be sold over the counter.  In some cases, pharmacists are responsible for taking inventory of the drugs on the shelves and ordering any which they are low on.

Pharmacists work in hospitals, clinics, health departments, universities, and grocery, drug, and discount stores.  Those who work in stores must be aware of the other health supplies available in the store so they do not direct customers in the wrong direction.

Salary: Average Salary:  $33,000 - $51,000

Education: Students should take the most challenging high school classes (including AP or IB) available in English, science, and math.

All pharmacists must graduate from a college of pharmacy.  Most pharmacy schools require applicants to take the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (P-CAT), and some require up to two years of pre-pharmacy education.  Other colleges will admit students directly from high school.

Normally it takes at least five years to earn a Pharmacy Degree.  To earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree,  Pharm.D., requires at least six.

Optician

Duties and responsibilities: Opticians fit and dispense eyeglasses for patients based upon prescriptions written by ophthalmologists or optometrists.  Optician’s help the customer’s select eyeglass frames and then measure their faces so that correct size frames can be ordered.  They also measure the distance between the corneas of the eyes so that the lenses may be correctly fitted in the frames.  Some opticians specialize in the fitting of contact lens and also in fitting artificial eyes.  Opticians may own their own retail store or work for an optical store.  Some also work for optometrists and ophthalmologists who sell glasses.
Salary: Average Salary:  $19,000 - $40,000

Education: Students should take high school courses in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry.  A high school diploma or GED certificate is needed to begin training as an optician.  There are two types of training programs.  Students can either complete an approved two-year course at an school of optician, or they can complete an approved three year on-the-job apprenticeship.

Optical laboratory technician

Duties and responsibilities: Optical laboratory technicians grind and fit eyeglass lenses into frames according to prescriptions written by ophthalmologists or optometrists.  Technicians set lens grinding machine so that lens blanks are ground and polished. They then fit the polished lenses into eyeglass frames and, depending upon where they work, fit the frames to the patients.  Some ophthalmic technicians work in optical laboratories or for optometrists or ophthalmologists.  Many work in retail stores that have optical departments.

Salary: average salary: $15,000 - $20,000

Education: A high school diploma or GED certificate is needed to begin optical laboratory training.  Training programs last between six months and one year and are provided by vocational schools and community colleges.  Some retail store optical departments provide on-the-job training

I think this quote is trying to say is that if you see what you really want you might not be able to accomplish your goals. Yawl got to think and dream about what you want. If you say what you want ND not dream about it ND believe in yourself it’s a nightmare. If you want something you got to go for it. for example: if you have a vision of something there’s a possibility your vision will come true not at that moment but like later on in the future. You just got to be ready when that day comes and never give up on your dreams.

Duties and responsibilities: Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive substances) to detect and treat disease.  They then position equipment over patients to make images.  These pictures allow physicians to identify abnormal areas.  This helps in diagnosing illness. Nuclear medicine technologists explain these tests to the patients and administer radioactive doses by mouth or injection.  They also perform laboratory tests on tissue samples.  They must follow strict safety regulations due to the dangers of radiation effects to their bodies and organs.

Salary: Average Salary:  $28,000 - $42,000

Education: Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school. Nuclear medicine technology training programs vary in length from one to four years.  One year programs that lead to certification are offered by hospitals.
